Title: Interior Architect

Curious about sitting on the owner’s side of the table? Interested in a creative role that provides exposure to all facets of real estate decision-making?

Jamestown is expanding our in-house architecture team to support the design and implementation of architecture and interiors projects across Jamestown’s real estate portfolio.

The Jamestown Architecture team is responsible for the design and oversight of architecture, landscape architecture, signage, wayfinding, lighting, and interior design projects. This position offers an immediate opportunity to contribute to significant adaptive-reuse, mixed-use, office, and hospitality developments across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Documentation:
   • Prepare renderings, plans, elevations, sections, and details for hospitality, office, and common space projects for internal and external review.
2. Project Oversight & Management:
   • Oversee and manage third-party architects’ design and documentation for office, retail, and hospitality projects to ensure alignment with Jamestown's vision, brand, and quality standards.
   • Communicate third-party design progress to the executive team and other departments.
   • Prepare RFPs for projects requiring third-party consulting services.
3. Collaboration & Communication:
   • Coordinate with internal teams across creative, marketing, project management, and leasing for seamless project execution.

Qualifications:

• Professional Degree in Architecture; licensure is a plus.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in architecture, with interior hospitality (F&B) and commercial office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction systems and interior detailing.
• Ability to communicate design ideas quickly through sketching and/or 3D modeling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and 3D modeling software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
