Job summary

Wedgwood Christian Services in West Michigan operates a trauma-informed residential program for youth ages 10-16. The Interim Assistant Residential Home Supervisor supports daily operations, guides staff, and helps maintain a structured therapeutic home environment built on safety, consistency, and trusted relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2+ years youth treatment experience
• Associates degree with 3+ years youth treatment experience
• High school diploma with 4+ years direct care experience
• Must be at least 20 years of age and have a valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical interventions when necessary

Responsibilities

• Support oversight of daily operations within the residential home
• Assist in supervising and developing Youth Treatment Specialists
• Oversee staff training progression and onboarding of new team members
• Provide guidance in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Maintain a safe, structured, therapeutic environment grounded in the Sanctuary Model
• Model trauma-informed approaches and support staff in applying them consistently
• Collaborate with clinical staff and leadership to ensure coordinated care
• Ensure adherence to agency policies, procedures and licensing requirements
