Job summary

Town of Hudson seeks an Interim Town Manager for a six-month assignment (January–June 2027). This full-time role (37.5 hours/week) will provide forward-looking leadership, oversee finances and operations, and guide the town through a transition as it prepares the FY2028 budget.

Reporting to the Select Board, the candidate will coordinate department operations, ensure continuity of services, and present a balanced budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Several years of municipal leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts municipal finance, open meeting laws, and Town Meeting governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide forward-thinking leadership and financial/operational oversight.
• Assemble and present a balanced FY2028 operating budget.
• Coordinate departmental operations during the transition period.
