Job summary

StevenDouglas is partnering with a financial services company to fill an Interim Technical Accounting Manager role for a 6+ month contract. The position requires on-site work in Charlotte, North Carolina 1-2 days per week.

The responsibilities include leading SEC reporting (10-K/10-Q/proxy and S-3/S-4 filings), shaping accounting policy, and supporting consolidations and TM1-based reporting, while collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical accounting and SEC reporting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting policy and GAAP.
• TM1 familiarity a plus; Workiva experience helpful but not required.
• Independent, self-directed work style with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEC reporting including 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy Statements, and S-3/S-4 filings.
• Drive accounting policy development and technical accounting research.
• Support consolidations and financial reporting using TM1.
• Collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
