Job summary

StevenDouglas is partnering with a financial services company to fill an Interim Technical Accounting Manager role for a 6+ month contract. The position requires on-site work in Charlotte, North Carolina 1-2 days per week.

The responsibilities include leading SEC reporting (10-K/10-Q/proxy and S-3/S-4 filings), shaping accounting policy, and supporting consolidations and TM1-based reporting, while collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical accounting and SEC reporting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting policy and GAAP.
• TM1 familiarity a plus; Workiva experience helpful but not required.
• Independent, self-directed work style with strong communication skills.

Job description

StevenDouglas is partnering with a financial services company seeking an Interim Technical Accounting Manager for a 6+ month contract engagement. This need is 1-2 days/week on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina.

This individual will assist with the following tasks:

• Leading SEC reporting including 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy Statements, and S-3/S-4 filings
• Driving accounting policy development and technical accounting research and documentation
• Supporting consolidations and financial reporting using TM1
• Operating as a strong individual contributor in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively across teams

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• 5+ years of progressive technical accounting and SEC reporting experience
• Strong working knowledge of accounting policy and GAAP
• Workiva experience helpful but not required; TM1 familiarity a plus
• Independent, self-directed work style with strong communication skills and the ability to deliver finished work product with minimal guidance
