Vaco by Highspring seeks an Interim Senior Tax Analyst - U.S. Tax to join our client’s tax team in New York. This hands-on role covers US corporate tax compliance, tax provision under ASC 740, and related accounting tasks in a hybrid work setting.

The position is interim with potential to convert to permanent, offering $60–$70 hourly and close collaboration with tax and finance leadership, external advisors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Approximately 3-6 years of U.S. corporate tax experience; Big 4 preferred.
• Hands-on experience with U.S. federal and state/local corporate income tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns.
• Assist with ASC 740 tax provision calculations and reporting.
• Prepare tax schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Support tax payments, extensions, and other tax requirements.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on compliance and tax matters.
• Assist with W-8/W-9 documentation and FATCA requirements.
