Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in New York, NY is seeking an Interim Senior Tax Analyst for U.S. Tax to support the corporate tax function. This hands-on, individual contributor role focuses on U.S. federal, state, and local compliance, tax provision, and related accounting activities.

Hybrid schedule with 2–3 days on site. Experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and CPA/Master's in Taxation encouraged; opportunity to convert to permanent is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• 3–6 years of U.S. corporate tax experience.
• CPA or Master's in Taxation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns.
• Assist with ASC 740 tax provision calculations and reporting.
• Maintain tax schedules, workpapers, and supporting documentation.
• Support tax notices and correspondence with authorities.
• Collaborate with external advisors on U.S. tax matters.
