Our client in Camarillo is looking for an Interim Senior Accountant to fill in for 2-3 months and help the accounting team with month end close, bank and account reconciliations and accounts payable.

Base pay range

$38.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record financial transactions for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses in compliance with GAAP and federal regulations.
• Compile, analyze, and reconcile account information to maintain accuracy and audit readiness.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Perform variance analysis, resolve discrepancies, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
