Parkview Manor in Texas is seeking an Interim Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing services, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive high-quality resident care. This hands-on leadership role requires clinical expertise and strong operations know-how in long-term care.

The DON will mentor staff, manage budgets, collaborate with physicians and therapy teams, and uphold documentation standards to deliver compassionate, compliant care across shifts.

Qualificações

• RN license in Texas
• Experience in nursing management
• Geriatric/long-term care experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations
• Lead, train, evaluate, and manage nursing staff; assign duties and develop staff
• Provide direct support to nursing staff to maintain quality care
• Approve department payroll and manage budgets within guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, medical directors, and therapy staff to develop individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting according to standards
• Ensure supplies and resources are adequate for top-tier care
• Offer ongoing staff training and development to improve resident outcomes
