Job summary

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Project Finance Paralegal to support a public energy company client on a full-time basis for 3+ months. This remote role focuses on project finance transactions in renewable energy and infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have at least 7+ years of paralegal or comparable transactional experience, especially in complex financings, M&A, and multi-entity structures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of paralegal or comparable transactional legal experience.
• Experience supporting project finance, structured finance or other complex financing transactions.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy projects and the project finance lifecycle.
• Experience with large, sophisticated transactions such as M&A, real estate, infrastructure financing.
• Experience managing diligence, documentation, signing, closing and post-closing.
• Experience with complex corporate and project-level entity structures.
• Ability to navigate transaction documents, organizational charts and closing conditions.
• Strong coordination among in-house counsel, business teams, outside counsel, lenders and investors.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys on project finance transactions involving renewable energy and infrastructure assets.
• Assist with due diligence, document preparation, execution, closing and post-closing activities.
• Coordinate and maintain transaction documents, closing checklists, signature packages and related materials.
• Support corporate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and other M&A matters.
• Apply experience from other sophisticated transactional practices to project finance matters.
• Review and organize corporate formation and governance documentation for project companies.
• Coordinate entity formations, qualifications, and related corporate records.
• Assist with transaction diligence and review of deal documentation.
• Manage large transaction closings and deadlines, coordinating with multiple teams.
