Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent team is seeking an Interim Corporate Paralegal to provide hands-on support across contracts, governance, litigation, privacy, and related admin needs. Remote within the United States; candidates should align with East Coast business hours.

The role requires at least 8 years of corporate paralegal experience, including in-house work, with a track record of stability in prior roles. Pay is hourly, $60 to $67, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of corporate paralegal experience, including in-house.
• Experience managing contract intake, routing, tracking, and storage.
• Experience with corporate housekeeping, annual state filings, and service of process; familiarity with Cogency or CSC.
• Strong experience with legal invoice processing, budget tracking, document retention, litigation trackers, and matter intake.

Responsibilities

• Process, code, submit, and track legal invoices; maintain budget tracker.
• Manage contract and agreement intake, routing, tracking, and filing with version histories.
• Support corporate housekeeping: annual state filings and service of process; familiarity with Cogency/CSC.
• Maintain organized legal files and contracts in SharePoint; support retention and tracking.
• Maintain litigation trackers and handle matter intake, routing, and coordination.
• Coordinate certificate of insurance and auto ID requests as needed.
• Provide flexible administrative support across the legal department as priorities evolve.
