Qualifications

• Provide professional counseling to patients and families in individual or group settings.
• Conduct lectures and community outreach; identify referrals to specialists when needed.
• Document assessment, care plans, and data in patient records.
• Educate clinical staff and support program implementation.
• Participate in marketing and community outreach for Addiction Recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional counseling services to patients and their families through individual and/or group settings.
• Conduct lectures and participate in community outreach activities; identify concerns and make referrals.
• Document assessment, care provided, treatment plans and data collection appropriately in the Addiction Recovery patient record.
• Provide educational support to the clinical program staff.
• Participate in marketing activities of Addiction Recovery to the hospital, clinic, other health professionals and the general community.
• Provide leadership to support efficient and effective multidisciplinary service provision in the Department.
• Act as a role model to Clinical team members and support leadership initiatives for department implementation of evolving best practice.
• Assist leadership with orientation and training of new and existing Clinical team members
