The ideal candidate will have a BSN, Texas RN license, and BLS/ACLS by hire; ER may require ENPC/TNCC. Five years of clinical experience is preferred, with strong leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; BSN required.
• Current Texas Nursing License; BLS and ACLS upon hire.
• ER requires ENPC or TNCC certifications upon hire; PA/ER area preferences.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staffing plans and schedules; ensures productivity targets are met.
• Identifies departmental improvement opportunities and implements action plans.
• Develops, revises, and maintains policies and procedures for nursing operations.
• Promotes positive relations with continuum of care providers and other departments.
• Ensures regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policy compliance; monitors unit performance.
• Mentors staff and supports professional development; maintains documentation of care services.
