Job summary

HCT Healthcare Transformation seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as Interim Manager, Operating Room in California. The role oversees frontline nurses and acts as a conduit between caregivers and leadership teams.

Responsibilities include communicating the organization’s goals to nursing staff to improve patient experiences and sharing knowledge to enhance understanding of patient needs, staff needs, or organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Minimum five years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital.
• At least three years of leadership experience in perioperative settings.
• AHA BLS certification is required.

Job description

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Manager, Operating Room for a 300+ bed hospital in California.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee the frontline nurses and act as the conduit between the caregivers and leadership teams.
• Communicate the organization’s goals to the nursing staff to constantly seek to improve patient experiences
• Share your knowledge with others and improve their understanding of a patient’s needs, the needs of the nursing staff, or the needs of the organization

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience: Minimum five (5) years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital, with at least three (3) years in perioperative services. At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership role (manager or director level) in a perioperative setting.
• Certifications: AHA BLS required
• Computer Skills: Information systems experience and Microsoft Office suite
