The ideal candidate will step into an established environment, build relationships with the team, manage changing workloads, and keep operations running smoothly with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising laboratory employees.
• Background in molecular biology, genomics, biotech.
• Strong scheduling and staffing coordination.
• Independent decision-maker with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Asheville laboratory daily operations.
• Lead scheduling, staffing coordination and workload planning.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and performance coaching.
• Ensure SOPs, quality, safety, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate with People Operations and leadership as needed.
