Job summary

Our Lady of the Elms in Akron, Ohio seeks an Interim President/Head of School to guide mission, academics, people, and operations during a period of transition. The role reports to the Chair of the Board of Trustees and collaborates with faculty, staff, students, families, alumnae, and the sponsor.

You will lead Catholic identity, academic excellence, enrollment strategy, fundraising, and compliant operations while stewarding the school's Dominican heritage and all‑girls education.

Responsibilities

• Champion Catholic identity and Dominican charism across programs and activities.
• Lead teaching and learning; support faculty and staff.
• Collaborate with the Board on near-term strategic priorities including enrollment, fundraising, and academics.
• Oversee personnel, budgets, facilities, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, alumnae, and the wider community.
