Think is seeking an Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO) to ensure continuity, operational stability, and forward momentum across their clients IT function.
The Role
The Interim Group CIO will assume full executive responsibility for IT strategy, operations, and governance across the enterprise. The role encompasses infrastructure, applications, ERP, cybersecurity, data, and IT governance, with accountability for ensuring business continuity, regulatory compliance, and alignment with corporate strategy.
The Interim CIO will act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, lead global IT teams, and provide clear direction during a period of organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute an enterprise IT strategy aligned with business objectives
- Strengthen IT governance, portfolio prioritization, and investment discipline
- Ensure alignment between technology initiatives, value creation, and risk management
IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee global IT operations, including infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms, and end-user services
- Ensure stability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency of IT services
- Manage and optimize strategic vendor and outsourcing relationships
Applications, ERP & Digital Enablement
- Ensure reliability and performance of core enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, LIMS, and related platforms)
- Oversee system enhancements, integrations, and transformation initiatives
- Support digital initiatives that improve operational efficiency, data transparency, and customer outcomes
- Strengthen enterprise cybersecurity posture and resilience
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, financial, and data protection requirements
- Lead incident response, risk mitigation, and remediation activities
Leadership & Change Management
- Lead and engage large, globally distributed IT teams
- Provide stability and direction during organizational transition
- Prepare the IT organization and leadership for a smooth handover to the permanent CIO

Required Skills
- Senior IT executive with prior experience as a CIO, Group CIO, or equivalent enterprise IT leader
- Background in large, complex, international organizations
- Experience in regulated environments such as life sciences, healthcare, industrial, or similar sectors preferred
- Proven expertise across IT transformation, ERP ecosystems, cybersecurity, and governance
- Strong executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in public company environments
- Fluent in English with significant international exposure
