The role partners with executive leadership, plant operations and functional leaders to standardize processes, improve data visibility, strengthen cybersecurity and convert technology investment into measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, working capital and growth. The CIO balances long‑term transformation with dependable day‑to‑day support for production environments that may operate around the clock.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Technology Strategy and Leadership

Develop and execute a multi‑year global technology strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives, capital plans, growth initiatives and operational priorities.

Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, executive team and board on technology opportunities, investment requirements, cyber risk, digital transformation and business continuity.

Establish an enterprise IT operating model with clear decision rights, service ownership, governance forums, standards and performance measures across corporate and site‑based teams.

Own the IT budget and investment portfolio, including business cases, prioritization, vendor performance, total cost of ownership and realization of expected benefits.

ERP and Business Application Governance

Create and lead a global ERP strategy for a company operating multiple ERP platforms, defining the target architecture and practical path for rationalization, consolidation, modernization or integration.

Establish governance for ERP configuration, master data, process ownership, change control, security roles, enhancements, reporting and upgrade cycles.

Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Sales and Human Resources to standardize core processes while accommodating justified local and regulatory requirements.

Improve integration among ERP, manufacturing execution, warehouse, product lifecycle, customer, financial, human capital and analytics systems.

Build a disciplined program management capability for major implementations, migrations, acquisitions, divestitures and system retirements, with strong controls over scope, risk, adoption and value delivery.

Manufacturing Technology and Operational Excellence

Ensure technology solutions support reliable plant operations, production scheduling, traceability, quality management, maintenance, inventory accuracy and on‑time delivery.

Develop an IT and operational technology architecture that appropriately connects and protects plant‑floor systems, industrial networks, controls and enterprise applications.

Advance practical digital manufacturing capabilities, including real‑time performance visibility, automation, analytics, connected equipment and predictive insights where business value is demonstrated.

Create support and resilience standards appropriate for critical manufacturing operations, including defined escalation, recovery objectives, redundancy and site continuity plans.

Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance

Lead the enterprise cybersecurity program across information technology and operational technology environments using a risk‑based framework.

Maintain effective identity and access management, vulnerability and patch management, security monitoring, incident response, backup and recovery, third‑party risk and employee awareness programs.

Regularly assess cyber maturity and communicate material risks, priorities and remediation progress to executive leadership and the board.

Ensure technology controls support applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, privacy, export control, records retention and industry requirements across all countries of operation.

Data Analytics and Reporting

Establish enterprise data governance, ownership, definitions, quality standards and master data controls to create trusted information across ERP platforms and sites.

Deliver scalable business intelligence and management reporting that provides timely visibility into financial and operating performance.

Define a data and integration architecture that reduces manual work, reconciliations and disconnected reporting while enabling advanced analytics and responsible use of artificial intelligence.

Infrastructure Service Delivery and Vendor Management

Ensure secure, reliable and cost‑effective global infrastructure, cloud services, networks, end‑user computing, collaboration tools and service desk operations.

Set service levels and monitor availability, incident resolution, user experience, project delivery, security, cost and business satisfaction.

Manage strategic suppliers, consultants, managed service providers and software partners through disciplined selection, contracting, performance management and risk oversight.

Develop technology integration and separation playbooks to support mergers, acquisitions, new facilities and other changes to the company footprint.

Organization and Change Leadership

Build, develop and retain a high‑performing global IT organization with appropriate central, regional and site capabilities.

Clarify roles, succession plans, technical standards and career paths while promoting accountability, collaboration and customer service.

Lead enterprise change management, communication, training and adoption for major technology and process initiatives.

Create strong partnerships with plant managers and functional leaders so priorities reflect business impact and frontline needs.

Qualifications
