Job summary

Vaco seeks an Interim FP&A Manager in Charlotte, NC to provide strategic financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting support for a client project. The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years FP&A experience, and advanced Excel skills.

You will collaborate across departments to drive insights, improve cash flow, and ensure alignment with the annual budget, while supporting quarterly forecasts and ad hoc analyses as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Financial planning and analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulas; data modeling skills advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in FP&A or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Providing strategic analysis to senior management.
• Performing analysis and modeling.
• Tracking results and cash flow.
• Explaining deviations to the annual budget and presenting them to Management.
• Assisting with integration of budget information into the accounting system.
• Analyzing fiscal operations including cash management, payroll, rent, investments.
• Preparing monthly budget variance reports.
• Assisting with quarterly forecast development.
• Acting as liaison between departments.
