FP&A Manager
Corporate Finance | Budgeting & Forecasting Experience Required

We are working with a PE backed company in the Triangle who is looking to add a FP&A Manager to their Corporate Finance Team. The FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial health of the organization by driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic initiatives across the organization. This individual will manage the corporate budget, forecasts, variance analyses, and KPIs to provide insights on how to optimize processes and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to create accurate, detailed budgets.
• Develop and maintain rolling forecasts, incorporating both internal and external business drivers.
• Maintain weekly cash flow forecasts
• Prepare reporting and financial analysis for key stakeholders including explanations of variances to forecast, plan, and prior periods and other ad hoc analysis as requested
• Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports to senior leadership, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Generate financial models to project future performance, assess profitability, and support decision-making.
• Track and report on cash flow, revenue, cost of goods sold, inventory management, SG&A expenses, and financial risks.
• Work cross functionally with Accounting Team to close the books quickly and accurately
• Develop periodic presentations for leadership summarizing financial results, trends, and opportunities for growth
• Drive process improvements within the FP&A Department, including report optimization, process automation, improved use of technology, and documentation of key assumptions.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, MBA strongly preferred
• 5 years of relevant experience in a FP&A specific role, supervisory experience preferred
• Manufacturing industry experience is a huge plus
• Proven experience in budgeting / forecasting processes
• Proven ability to work across all functions and levels of the organization to improve financial results
• Ability to influence decisions and actions of others without reporting authority
• Experience using SQL/Python/VBA to automate repetitive processes and building/ maintaining dashboards in Power BI or Tableau is a plus
