Job summary

Tatum by Randstad is seeking a leadership accountant to act as the primary accounting partner for brand leadership, interfacing with Corporate Controller, FP&A, Treasury, and AP. The assignment runs 3–6 months with a primarily remote setup and monthly visits to the Greater Salt Lake City area.

Responsibilities include leading month-end close, GL reviews, and journal entries, while leveraging Sage Intacct to streamline reporting and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle month-end close.
• Experience managing GL and balance sheet reconciliations for multi-entity businesses.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication with a proactive leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accounting partner to brand leadership and collaborate with Corporate Controller, FP&A, Treasury, and AP.
• Lead month-end close, review reconciliations, prepare journal entries and accruals, and resolve variances.
• Leverage Sage Intacct to streamline reporting, reduce manual tasks, and shorten close cycles.
• Maintain robust internal controls, documentation, GAAP compliance, and audit readiness.
• Partner with AP and FP&A to support forecasting, vendor/cash management, and align data with corporate goals.
