Job summary

Tatum by Randstad is seeking a senior accounting leader to serve as the primary partner to brand leadership, collaborating with the Corporate Controller, FP&A, Treasury and AP. The role is 3-6 months, largely remote with initial on-site work and monthly visits to the Greater Salt Lake City area.

Responsibilities include leading month-end close, ensuring accurate reporting, strengthening internal controls, and driving efficiency through Sage Intacct and Velixo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle month-end close.
• Experience managing general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations for multi-entity or multi-unit businesses.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, hands-on leadership style.

• Lead month-end close processes, review balance sheet reconciliations, prepare journal entries/accruals, and resolve variances.
• Leverage Sage Intacct to streamline reporting, reduce manual tasks, and shorten close cycles.
• Maintain robust accounting controls, documentation, and ensure GAAP compliance and audit readiness.
• Partner with AP and FP&A to support forecasting, optimize vendor/cash management, and align accounting data with broader corporate goals.

Expected duration is 3-6 months. The role will primarily be remote with initial on-site presence and monthly visits to the Greater Salt Lake City area.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Accounting & Reporting: Serve as the primary accounting partner for assigned divisions; oversee financial reporting, ensure accurate period cut-offs, and present key financial insights to leadership.
• Month-End Close & GL: Lead month-end close processes, review balance sheet reconciliations, prepare journal entries/accruals, and resolve variances.
• Systems & Process Optimization: Leverage Sage Intacct to streamline reporting, reduce manual tasks, and shorten close cycles.
• Internal Controls: Maintain robust accounting controls, maintain documentation, and ensure GAAP compliance and audit readiness.
• Collaborative Leadership: Partner with AP and FP&A to support forecasting, optimize vendor/cash management, and align accounting data with broader corporate goals.
