Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in elementary education or related field is required; master’s degree preferred.
• Prior elementary math teaching experience is required and foundational math to Algebra 1 is covered.
• Familiarity with mastery-based and inquiry-based instructional approaches and use of assessment data to inform instruction.

Responsibilities

• Teach math-science to Kindergarten to 5th grade, spanning from foundational numeracy to Algebra 1.
• Use Common Core Standards as guide while applying mastery- and inquiry-based methods.
• Develop and present high-quality projects for end-of-term exhibitions.
