Job summary

The Center for Early Education, Inc. is seeking a temporary on-site Math Specialist to cover a leave from January through June 2027.

You will plan and implement math curriculum for 4th–6th grade, differentiate instruction, and assess student progress in partnership with school leadership and learning specialists. Responsibilities include refining the math continuum, co-teaching, data-driven instruction, and providing enrichment and remediation as needed, with a focus on equitable learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.
• California elementary teaching credential preferred but not required.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty and plan instruction.

Responsibilities

• Lead in refining and maintaining a seamless elementary math curriculum continuum.
• Collaborate with faculty to plan instruction and analyze assessments.
• Support upper elementary classrooms and co-teach when needed.
• Spend time in classrooms daily to ensure alignment and enrichment.
• Design and present math workshops and resources for staff and parents.
• Communicate progress and recommendations to administrators and parents.
