Job summary

Rose’s Division of IT seeks an Interim Director to drive organizational stabilization during a period of significant change. You will lead a comprehensive transformation, align resources with institutional priorities, and implement sustainable management practices to position the department for long-term success.

Over a 9-12 month engagement, you will stabilize operations, map current infrastructure and budgets, and establish governance and decision-making processes to ensure a smooth transition

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree.
Master’s degree preferred in science/tech or related field.

Responsibilities

Stabilize departmental operations while maintaining critical IT services.
Inventory of research technology infrastructure, services, and budgets.
Establish governance, comms, and decision-making processes for long-term success.
Document recommendations, priorities, budgets, and transition plans for the incoming Director.
Recruit, mentor, and prepare team members for long-term success.
Lead organizational change and culture transformation efforts.
Provide executive-level reports and recommendations to leadership.
