Job summary

Innosoft Corp. in Columbia, SC seeks an experienced Director of Research Computing & Cyberinfrastructure. This 9–12 month interim role focuses on stabilizing operations, assessing infrastructure, and implementing rapid, transformative changes while maintaining essential IT services and customer engagement.

You will lead a team through organizational culture rebuilding, resource alignment with priorities, and governance improvements. A permanent leadership transition plan will also be documented.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading organizational transformation and change management.
• 8+ years of experience leading large, complex technology projects.
• 8+ years of experience with personnel management, coaching, and performance accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for departmental operations and research technology infrastructure.
• Supervise managers, professional staff, and student staff.
• Establish performance expectations and monitor outcomes.
• Make timely operational and resource allocation decisions.
• Lead organizational change initiatives and culture transformation.
• Evaluate organizational effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Develop and monitor departmental priorities and performance metrics.
• Coordinate department budgets and strategic resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and security standards.
• Remove obstacles to productivity and collaboration.
• Provide executive-level reports and recommendations.
