AMN Healthcare Leadership Solutions | B.E. Smith is seeking an Interim Director of Surgical Suites in Springfield, MA to provide strategic and operational leadership for a busy perioperative services department across multiple locations.

The role reports to the VP of Perioperative Services and oversees five direct reports and ~300 FTEs. The ideal candidate will drive Joint Commission readiness, mentor managers, optimize staffing and daily operations, and advance patient safety in a complex acute

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master's degree preferred.
• Active RN license required.
• Progressive perioperative leadership experience in an acute care setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a large perioperative services department with 36 operating rooms across multiple locations.
• Oversee five direct reports and ~300 FTEs; mentor leadership and new managers.
• Lead Joint Commission survey readiness and provide onsite support during surveys.
• Manage staffing productivity, departmental hours, and daily operations to ensure efficiency.
