Job summary
Impekkable, an award-winning healthcare consulting and strategic hospital services firm, seeks an Interim Director of Nursing in Northern California. This onsite role supports a SNF service line with immediate start and potential interim-to-permanent transition.
The DON will lead nursing, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality care through collaboration with physicians, therapists, and staff. The successful candidate will have CA RN licensure, a BSN/MSN, CPR, and proven leadership in
Qualifications
- RN license in California is required.
- BSN or MSN in nursing preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and accreditation processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to the nursing staff and foster teamwork.
- Ensure safe, patient-centered care per policies and regulations.
- Monitor nursing practices and drive quality improvement.
- Develop professional development plans for nursing staff.
