Job summary

Interim Director of Case Management Needed in Mayfield, Kentucky!

The Position

• An Interim Director is needed to lead Health Information Management (HIM) and support case management and utilization review operations at a hospital in Mayfield, Kentucky.
• Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this leader will oversee five direct reports.
• Key responsibilities include advancing patient care progression, coordinating with physicians and clinical teams to support timely transitions of care, overseeing utilization review, and maintaining regulatory readiness.
• The ideal candidate will have director-level HIM experience, case management expertise, strong physician collaboration skills, and a willingness to provide hands-on support. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• BSN required.
• Active RN license required.
• Director-level Health Information Management (HIM) experience and case management experience required.
• Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Accredited Case Manager-Registered Nurse (ACM-RN) certification required.

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $150,000 to $165,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
