Interim Corporate Controller

This hands-on role will provide critical support during a transitional period and will focus on the day-to-day management of core accounting operations. The ideal professional will bring strong corporate accounting experience and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a high-visibility role offering the opportunity to step into a leadership position and make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
• Manage and review general ledger activity, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Oversee accounts payable and payroll functions
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial reporting
• Mentor and support accounting staff as needed during the engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience
• Expertise in general accounting, close, A/P, and payroll functions
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
• Ability to be hands-on and detail-oriented while maintaining a leadership perspective
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
