Job summary

Ledgent is seeking an Interim Controller for a growing manufacturing organization in the NW Suburbs of Minnesota. This on‑site role demands hands‑on leadership across accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls, with direct collaboration with executive leadership.

Qualified candidates will bring CPA certification, manufacturing and cost accounting experience, and a strong track record in reporting, forecasting and controls, plus ERP experience

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• Manufacturing and cost accounting experience.
• Experience as Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller.
• Strong background in financial reporting, forecasting and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on leadership across accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Partner with executive leadership to improve processes and drive financial performance.
• Support key business decisions with accurate, timely financial information and robust internal controls.
• Oversee ERP systems and process improvements to strengthen reporting reliability.
