Job summary

DealHub Ltd is seeking an Interim CFO to lead the finance function at a nationally recognized nonprofit in McLean, VA. You will drive financial strategy, oversee federal grants, audits, and compliance while guiding budgeting and forecasting for FY2027.

The role combines hands-on financial leadership with partnership to the Board and executive team, shaping forecasting and annual plans during a critical growth period.

Qualifications

• CFO or senior finance leadership experience in nonprofit environment.
• Strong expertise in federal grants, compliance, and funding regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of nonprofit audits and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience presenting financial results to executive leadership and boards.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Sage Intacct and Bill.com is a plus.

• Oversee financial operations and help close accounting backlogs.
• Lead federal grant compliance, reimbursement processes, and funding requirements.
• Guide audit preparation and support nonprofit audit activities.
