Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification as Assistant Building Administrator (045) or Building Administrator (040) (or certifiable in Maine).
• Experience teaching elementary students and building administrator experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, families and students.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop teachers and staff by promoting best practices in instruction and assessment.
• Oversee daily building operations and safety across Mitchell Primary School.
• Analyze student achievement and attendance data to improve programming.
• Serve on the building leadership team and assist Principal as needed.
• Collaborate with Special Education to ensure compliant, high-quality programming.
