Qualifications

• Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy.
• Knowledge of elementary school curriculum and concepts.
• Knowledge of administration, program evaluation and staff supervision.
• Ability to use data information systems and analyze data to inform actions.
• Strong communication with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers school programs aligned with district goals.
• Leads staff with regard to evaluation and improvement of educational programs, curricular and extracurricular activities.
• Promotes a safe, conducive school environment and supports individualized instruction.
• Ensures policies and procedures are implemented and followed at the school.
• Coordinates recruitment, personnel files, and human resource issues with central office.
• Organizes regular meetings with teachers for professional development and collaboration.
