Job summary

Caldera Care's Spokane Falls Care in Spokane, WA is seeking an Interim Admissions/Unit Manager Nurse (RN or LPN). The role is PRN, part-time, or full-time with on-call rotation; pay range $45.00 - $55.00/hr DOE.

You will lead with visible nursing leadership, partner with clinical teams to improve processes, educate patients and families on admissions, ensure timely assessments and orders, and support regulatory compliance and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current LPN or RN license in good standing
• BLS certification
• Experience supervising in long-term care preferred but not required
• Knowledge of nursing regulations and guidelines

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible leadership presence, providing guidance and support to staff as needed
• Partner with leadership and clinical teams to implement process improvements that enhance patient care and staff collaboration
• Educate patients and families regarding admission processes, treatment plans, services, and expectations
• Timely complete assessments, follow ups, and orders while maintaining clear communication with nursing staff, providers, case managers, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Carry out responsibilities and other assignments as directed by the Director of Nursing to support departmental goals, regulatory compliance, quality patient care, and operational excellence
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and willingly assist colleagues to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care

• Carry out responsibilities and other assignments as directed by the Director of Nursing (DON) to support departmental goals, regulatory compliance, quality patient care, and operational excellence.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and willingly assist colleagues to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must possess a current LPN or RN license, and in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a long term care setting preferred, though not required
• BLS Certified
• Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
