A reputable mid-sized company is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager to provide coverage during a maternity leave. This position involves overseeing audit processes, consolidating financials, and preparing management reports. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in an Accounting Manager role and proficiency in QuickBooks Online. The role offers a hybrid work schedule with 3-4 days onsite and the rest remote, alongside a competitive compensation package including benefits.

Base Pay Range

$50.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Overview

A Beacon Hill Client is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager to support a mid‑sized company during a maternity leave coverage.

• Competitive comp package with benefits and bonus upon completion
• Project is projected to be 6 months in length

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the audit process
• Consolidate financials for multiple holding companies
• Prepare quarterly management reports for the board
• Handle traditional accounting functions, including general ledger management and staff accounting
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis, including bank reconciliations and month‑end close activities

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Accounting Manager role or higher
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team
• Excellent communication skills; dynamic and personable
• Ability to interview and start as soon as possible

Work Arrangement

Hybrid schedule: 3‑4 days onsite, 1‑2 days remote, with potential for increased flexibility over time.
