The ideal candidate will have advanced QuickBooks Enterprise experience, strong payroll knowledge, and the ability to streamline accounting workflows while ensuring accurate union liabilities and 1:1 payroll alignment across multi-job costs.

Qualifications

• Advanced QuickBooks Enterprise experience including payroll configuration and job costing.
• Strong payroll processes understanding; in-house payroll experience required.
• Experience with union payroll or union reporting (Chicago electrical unions preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot discrepancies between actual union payments and QuickBooks entries.
• On-site initially, with hybrid flexibility after ramp-up.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild and validate a new QuickBooks company file with a third-party system.
• Create and implement updated payroll templates that match union liabilities 1:1.
• Develop reports for multi-job cost visibility including labor, materials, expenses, liabilities.
• Ensure union liabilities correctly apply to job costs with hour-for-hour matching.
• Prepare raw data exports and time-stamped records to support analytics and future AI-driven processes.

What’s the Job?

• Ensure union liabilities are correctly applied to job costs, including hour‑for‑hour liability matching.
• Prepare raw data exports and time‑stamped records to support analytics and future AI-driven processes.
