Job summary

Vanderbilt University’s Center for Spiritual and Religious Life seeks a Program Coordinator to lead campus-wide programs on spiritual wellness and interfaith dialogue. You will collaborate with student groups, chaplains, and faculty to foster belonging and religious literacy.

The role supports advising student religious and worldview groups, mentors leadership, and helps plan events that reflect diverse identities. Evening/weekend availability may be required; onsite with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Master's degree in divinity, theology, religious studies, student affairs, higher education, or a related field preferred.
• At least one year of professionally relevant experience is required.
• At least two years of related experience in higher education, student affairs, campus ministry, or community engagement is preferred.
• Familiarity with religious diversity, spiritual care, interfaith programming, and intersectional engagement is preferred.
• Experience with marketing and communications, including Canva and social media platforms for program promotion, is preferred.
• Excellent decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and implement campus-wide programs related to spiritual wellness and interfaith dialogue.
• Support events such as Interfaith Week, observances, vigils, and reflections.
• Collaborate with student leaders, affiliates, and campus partners to reflect diverse beliefs.
• Develop assessments to measure outcomes and improve initiatives.
• Co-sponsor programs exploring faith in culture, justice, and belonging.
