Job summary

High Point University is seeking an Interfaith Partner to support the Chapel and Religious Life Office by deepening interfaith competence, fostering community, and developing interfaith programs on campus.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently while balancing academic commitments.

Flexibility in work hours, including bi-weekly meetings and a minimum commitment of 5-10 hours per week, is essential.

Qualifications

  • High attention to detail for project management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Can work with little or no oversight, demonstrating integrity and respect.
  • Willingness to learn interfaith concepts, storytelling, and graphic design.
  • Effective time-management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Teams.
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or contribute to interfaith projects.
  • Develop and manage a bi-monthly Interfaith Partner Blog.
  • Coordinate Interfaith Feature Fridays on campus social media.
  • Plan and execute a major interfaith event.
  • Collaborate on blog and feature content with multimedia assistants.
  • Produce curriculum for Interfaith Dinner Club and multifaith meditation forum.
  • Work with Interfaith United, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and other organizations.
  • Lead trainings for campus student leaders as needed.
  • Serve as office assistant for Chapel Programs and/or Minister to the University.
