Job summary

Vanderbilt's Center for Spiritual and Religious Life seeks a Program Coordinator to design and implement campus-wide programs that foster spiritual wellbeing, religious literacy, and interfaith dialogue. The role advises student religious groups, supports leadership development, and coordinates events with campus partners.

The Coordinator will handle logistics, marketing, and assessment, while maintaining strong relationships across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred in divinity, theology, religious studies, student affairs, or related field.
• 1+ year of professional experience in a relevant setting (student affairs, campus life, or related area).
• 2+ years of related experience in higher education, campus ministry, or community engagement preferred.
• Familiarity with religious diversity, spiritual care, interfaith programming, and intersectional engagement is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and implement campus-wide programs related to spiritual wellness, interfaith dialogue, and inclusive engagement.
• Advise student religious, spiritual, and worldview organizations and support leadership development.
• Manage logistics for events, including space reservations, catering, and marketing; assist with budgeting and reporting.
• Develop marketing strategies and Canva-based promotional materials; create content for social media channels.
• Participate in divisional committees and campus events to promote belonging and community across traditions.
