Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Chaplain PRN to join the Spiritual Care team. You will provide interfaith spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff, develop care plans, participate in on-call rotations, and document interventions in patient records.

Qualified candidates hold a Master's in Theology, 4 CPE units, and at least 3 years of hospital chaplaincy experience. Strong communication, ethics, and cultural competence are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry, or related field from an accredited seminary/graduate school.
• 3 years of hospital chaplaincy experience required.
• 4 units of CPE from ACPE/CPEI/CPSP required.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff, including on-call rotations.
• Assess and address spiritual needs; document care in medical records.
• Lead religious rituals, services, and educational events.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop integrated care plans.
• Participate in care conferences, meetings, and crisis interventions.
• Promote ethical chaplaincy practices and support for patient and family preferences.
