Job summary

The City of Philadelphia is seeking an Interface Lead to modernize and support data integrations across the OnePhilly platform. You will lead design, development, testing, and maintenance of interfaces between Oracle/ERP OnePhilly and external systems, vendors, and payroll.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/IS/Data Analytics, 5+ years in enterprise interfaces, 2+ years coordinating teams, strong communication, and experience with data mapping, security, and QA.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience supporting, developing, testing, or managing enterprise system interfaces and data integrations.
• At least two years coordinating technical work or guiding developers, analysts, vendors, or project teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software and technologies.
• Experience with interface testing and documentation.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with system integrations, data mapping, or workflow design.
• Expertise with Windows MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Director of OnePhilly to prioritize interface needs and provide updates on performance.
• Integration Strategy & Architecture: Define and execute interface development strategy aligned with standards and security.
• End-to-End Delivery: Lead full lifecycle of data interfaces from requirements to deployment.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Serve as primary technical contact for vendors and city departments.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Develop testing protocols to ensure data integrity across HR, payroll, pension, and benefits.
• Monitoring & Incident Management: Oversee daily processing and resolve data mismatches or failures.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure secure file transfers and regulatory compliance.
• Team Leadership: Mentor developers, data analysts, and business analysts.
