The ideal candidate has strong experience with integration engines, HL7 and FHIR standards, API integration, and SQL database work, plus go-to-troubleshooting skills to ensure reliable data exchange.

Qualifications

• Epic Interface Bridge Certificate is required.
• Minimum 3 years of interface development experience.
• Hands-on with integration engines (Iguana, Mirth or Rhapsody).
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Familiarity with healthcare data exchange security (GoAnywhere MFTP).

Responsibilities

Job Title: Interface Developer

Location: Houston, TX — Hybrid or Remote

Employment Type: Contract — initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension

We are looking for an Interface Developer to join the implementation team of a great client in the healthcare industry based in Houston.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integration engine experience, scripting and working with healthcare standards such as HL7 and FHIR. Additionally, expertise in API integration, database management, and providing support will be crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interfaces using integration engine.
• Write and maintain scripts to support interface development and integration process.
• Work with healthcare standards such as HL7 and FHIR to facilitate the data exchange between systems.
• Integrate external API into existing systems to enable seamless communication.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve interface-related issues.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
