Job summary

NAVAIR is seeking an experienced PMA-226 Contracted Air Services Class Desk, Interdisciplinary (Mech/Aero) Engineer at Cherry Point, NC. You will work within the FST Engineering Division of FLTREADCEN EAST, overseeing products and services to maintain airworthiness and economic operation.

You will serve as the technical engineering authority for workload, lead modifications investigations, and ensure training and facilities meet program requirements.

Responsibilities

• oversee development and management products and services required to sustain economic operation and ensure airworthiness
• serve as the technical engineering authority for assigned workload performed by the incumbent as well as subordinates
• investigate, research, and determine applicability of major modifications for the program
• manage the requirements for qualified personnel, processes, facilities, and ensures training/requirements are translated into sound engineering products
• analyze/recommend adjustments to specified service life intervals for aircraft/weapons and equipment
