Naval Air Systems Command seeks an interdisciplinary engineer in the FST Engineering Division of FLTREADCEN East to oversee development and management of products and services supporting airworthiness and economic operation.

Applicants must meet OPM standards, with a professional engineering degree or equivalently credentialed licensure (EI/EIT/PE) and relevant calculus/engineering coursework. Telework eligibility is noted; Top Secret clearance required.

Formación

• Successful completion of a professional engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program.
• Option 1: degree in engineering with calculus and courses in statics, dynamics, materials, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical fields/circuits, or related areas.
• Option 2: current registration as Engineer Intern (EI), Engineering in Training (EIT), or licensure as Professional Engineer (PE).
• Alternative: FE examination or equivalent licensure path as acceptable credential.
• If not using ABET route, other engineering science or physics programs meeting the standards may qualify.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee development and management of products and services required to sustain economic operation and ensure airworthiness.
• Lead cross-disciplinary engineering efforts in the FST Engineering Division of FLTREADCEN EAST.
