Job summary

Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI seeks an Assistant Director, Intercultural Student Success and Engagement to lead academic coaching, mentoring, and intercultural programming for the Intercultural Center. This role partners with campus offices to advance access, belonging, and student success.

You will supervise student staff, advise student organizations, develop programs, assess outcomes, and contribute to a thriving inclusive campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in academic coaching, mentoring, or student support.
• Strong written and oral communication skills across audiences.
• Experience with intercultural learning and inclusive practice is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple campus offices and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic coaching, mentoring, referral, and follow‑up for IC students.
• Support access, belonging, retention, and success through proactive outreach and resource navigation.
• Advise student organizations and mentor student leaders connected to the IC.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate IC services, programs, and events.
• Collect data and assist with reporting on program outcomes and impact.
