Zusammenfassung

Urban Grid, a leading independent power producer, seeks a Senior Manager/Director of Interconnection in Houston. You will oversee the Interconnection team, manage applications through COD, and coordinate with utilities and ISO/RTOs to optimize project bankability.

You will lead study evaluations and negotiate final interconnection agreements for solar and storage projects. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years in electric utilities or renewables, and strong skills

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the electric utility or renewable industry.
• Strong knowledge of power flow and modeling tools (PSSE, TARA, PROMOD, PowerWorld).
• Experience with PJM, MISO, SERC, TVA, WECC, BPA preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee interconnection team and engineers.
• Lead all phases of the interconnection lifecycle: Application, Agreements to COD.
• Oversee interconnection requests, submissions, milestones, deposits and deliverables.
• Align interconnection schedules with project schedules and targets.
• Lead interconnection applications and study evaluations for solar and storage projects.
• Oversee negotiation of final interconnection agreements and manage milestones.
• Provide due diligence for M&A activities.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to create PSCAD/steady-state models.
• Provide technical support to the development organization.
• Represent Urban Grid in ISO/RTO stakeholder organizations.
