Job summary

Renewable Properties is seeking an experienced Interconnection Manager to lead electrical interconnection and delivery strategies for distributed generation projects nationwide. This role sits at the center of development, origination, and construction, owning one of the most critical paths to project success.

The role coordinates interconnection studies, manages utility relationships, and guides early engineering for solar, BESS, and EV sites across the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in renewable energy interconnection or related field.
• Strong knowledge of utility interconnection and transmission planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate optimal interconnection points across markets considering capacity, cost, timeline, and risk.
• Submit interconnection requests and liaise with utilities through IA and construction phases.
• Manage project queue positions and track interconnection processes and study timing.
• Negotiate study results and interconnection agreements with utilities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support interconnection progress.
• Represent the company at stakeholder meetings and track tariff changes.
• Identify interconnection execution risks during acquisition due diligence.
• Other duties to support business needs.
