Job summary

New Leaf Energy is seeking an Interconnection Project Manager (Utility-Scale) to join our team in a hybrid work environment. The role focuses on coordinating interconnection activities across multiple ISOs, engaging with Engineering, Project Finance, Accounting, and Operations to drive portfolio performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong PM skills, experience in energy/utilities, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across markets such as CAISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, PJM,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in energy or electric utility sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Policy, Finance, Business, Environmental Science, or Project Management preferred.
• Strong project management, reporting and technical skills; PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead critical path planning and tactical management for application window submissions.
• Develop understanding of the company’s interconnection value stream map and development strategy.
• Lead interconnection due diligence and research, including process implementation.
• Create and maintain ISO/region-specific project management infrastructure.
• Read and interpret project documents (diagrams, layouts, datasheets).
• Track and report key performance metrics in each ISO/region.
• Coordinate interconnection activities with internal teams and external stakeholders.
