Job summary

Copia Power in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Manager, Interconnection to lead generation interconnection processes for solar, energy storage, and data center projects across the US. You will coordinate ISOs/utilities, negotiate GIA, and support project financing and contracting activities.

Reporting to the Director of Transmission & Interconnection, you will collaborate with asset management, legal, and finance teams to drive interconnection milestones and ensure alignment with tariffs and market

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ professional experience, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with project management software.
• Ability to work in Phoenix, AZ at least 3 days per week.
• Travel up to 25%.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate generation and load interconnection for utility-scale solar, energy storage, natural gas, and data center projects.
• Coordinate interconnection processes, feasilibility analyses, and study/fee schedules with ISOs/Utilities.
• Lead interconnection agreement negotiations, including GIA/NTP and milestone tracking.
• Collaborate with Land Acquisition, Engineering, Permitting, EPC, and Operations to develop a strong project pipeline.
• Provide support for project acquisition, financing, and co-location with data center campuses.
• Maintain company tracking tools and report milestones to stakeholders.
